AmendmentsLeasuithe The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 5
(11)of the Agriculture (An Foras Talúntais) Act, 1958 (No. of 1958), hereby order as follows: 1.
(1)This Order may be cited as An Foras Talúntais (Nomination of Members of the Council by Agricultural and Rural Organisations) (Amendment) Order, 1970.
(2)The following Orders, namely: (
- a)An Foras Talúntais (Nomination of Members of the Council by Agricultural and Rural Organisations) Order, 1958 ( S.I. No. 102 of 1958 ), (
- b)An Foras Talúntais (Nomination of Members of the Council by Agricultural and Rural Organisations) (Amendment) Order, 1961 ( S.I. No. 98 of 1961 ), (
- c)An Foras Talúntais (Nomination of Members of the Council by Agricultural and Rural Organisations) (Amendment) Order, 1964 ( S.I. No. 82 of 1964 ), and (
- d)An Foras Talúntais (Nomination of Members of the Council by Agricultural and Rural Organisations) (Amendment) Order, 1967 ( S.I. No. 119 of 1967 ), and this Order may be cited together as An Foras Talúntais (Nomination of Members of the Council by Agricultural and Rural Organisations) Orders, 1958 to 1970, and shall be construed together as one. 2. An Foras Talúntais (Nomination of Members of the Council by Agricultural and Rural Organisations) Order, 1958 ( S.I. No. 102 of 1958 ), is hereby amended by the substitution in the Schedule of "Irish Commercial Horticultural Association" for "Agricultural Association of Ireland" and of "Irish Grassland and Animal Production Association" for "Irish Grassland Association". GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Government this 26th day of May, 1970. SEÁN Ó LOINSIGH, Taoiseach. EXPLANATORY NOTE The Order substitutes Irish Commercial Horticultural Association for Agricultural Association of Ireland and Irish Grassland and Animal Production Association for Irish Grassland Association in the list of agricultural and rural organisations which are entitled to nominate five persons to be members of the Council of An Foras Talúntais in accordance with section 5
(8)of the Agriculture (An Foras Talúntais) Act, 1958.
