CORK DISTRICT MILK BOARD (LEVY) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1970. I, NEIL T. BLANEY, Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 4 of the Milk (Regulation of Supply and Price) Act, 1936 (No. 43 of 1936), and by section 41, as amended by section 7 of the Milk (Regulation of Supply and Price) (Amendment) Act, 1952 (No. 9 of 1952), of that Act, as adapted by the Agriculture (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1965 ( S.I. No. 146 of 1965 ), do hereby order and make the following regulations: 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Cork District Milk Board (Levy) (Amendment) Regulations, 1970. 2. In these Regulations— "the Board" means the Cork District Milk Board; "the section" means section 41 of the Milk (Regulation of Supply and Price) Act, 1936 (No. 43 of 1936), as amended by section 19 of the Milk (Regulation of Supply and Price) (Amendment) Act, 1941 (No. 11 of 1941), and section 7 of the Milk (Regulation of Supply and Price) (Amendment) Act, 1952 (No. 9 of 1952). 3. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to these Regulations. 4.

(1)For the purposes of the levy payable to the Board under subsection
(1)(
  1. b)of the section— (
  2. a)the prescribed sum shall, as respects the month of February, 1970, and each subsequent month, be 21/3 pence; (
  3. b)regulation 4
(1)(a) of the Cork District Milk Board (Levy) (Amendment) Regulations, 1953 ( S.I. No. 137 of 1953 ), shall not apply in relation to any such month.
(2)For the purposes of the levy payable to the Board under subsection
(2)(
  1. b)of the section— (
  2. a)the prescribed sum shall, as respects the month of February, 1970, and each subsequent month, be 21/3 pence; (
  3. b)regulation 4
(2)(a) of the Regulations mentioned in paragraph
