HAUGHEY, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 of the Turf Development Act, 1968 (No. 28 of 1968) and after consultation with the Minister for Transport and Power in respect of the year commencing on the 1st day of April, 1970 hereby order as follows: 1. This Order may be cited as the Bord na Móna (Waiver of Interest) Order, 1970. 2. With respect to the interest due by Bord na Móna in the year commencing on the 1st day of April, 1970, on the sums advanced under section 53 of the Turf Development Act, 1946 (No. 10 of 1946), such part of that interest as is due on that day is hereby waived. GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 12th day of March, 1970. CHARLES J. HAUGHEY, Minister for Finance. EXPLANATORY NOTE. The purpose of this order is to waive interest due by Bord na Móna on certain moneys advanced by the Exchequer.
