ROAD TRANSPORT ACT, 1971 (FEES) REGULATIONS, 1971. I, BRIAN LENIHAN, Minister for Transport and Power, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 6 of the Road Transport Act, 1933 (No. 8 of 1933), section 6 of the Road Transport Act, 1971 (No. 8 of 1971), and the Transport, Fuel and Power (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1959 (No. 125 of 1959), and with the sanction of the Minister for Finance, hereby order as follows: 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Road Transport Act, 1971 (Fees) Regulations, 1971. 2. The fee payable for inspection of the register established under section 6 of the Road Transport Act, 1971 (No. 8 of 1971), shall be 25 new pence. 3. The fee payable for a copy of an entry in the register established under section 6 of the Road Transport Act, 1971 , shall be 25 new pence. 4. Every fee in respect of inspection of the said register or for a copy of an entry therein shall be collected and paid into the Exchequer. GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 31st day of May, 1971. BRIAN LENIHAN, Minister for Transport and Power. The Minister for Finance hereby sanctions the fees, and the manner of collection and accounting of such fees, prescribed by the foregoing regulations. EXPLANATORY NOTE The effect of the Instrument is to prescribe a fee of 25p for inspection of the Register of Merchandise Licences established under Section 6 of the Road Transport Act, 1971 or for a copy of an entry in the said Register.
