The Minister for Health in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 5 of the Health Act, 1947 , (No. 28 of 1947) and Section 64 of the Health Act, 1970 , (No. 1 of 1970) hereby makes the following Regulations:— 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Maternity Cash Grants Regulations, 1972. 2. In these Regulations "the Minister" means the Minister for Health. 3. The prescribed conditions for the purpose of subsection
(2)of Section 64 of the Health Act, 1970 , shall be that the woman shall have made application to the health board in a form approved by the Minister for this purpose within a period of three months of the confinement or such longer period as the health board may determine.
- The Maternity Cash Grants Regulations, 1953 ( S.I. No. 410 of 1953 ) are hereby revoked. GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Minister for Health this 27th day of September,
