AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS (RESTRICTION OF EXPORT OF UNSWEETENED MILK POWDER COMMODITIES) ORDER, 1972. I, JAMES GIBBONS, Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 2 of the Agricultural and Fishery Products (Regulation of Export) Act, 1947 (No. 18 of 1947), as adapted by the Agriculture (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1965 ( S.I. No. 146 of 1965 ), hereby order as follows: 1. This Order may be cited as the Agricultural Products (Restriction of Export of Unsweetened Milk Powder Commodities) Order, 1972. 2. This Order shall come into operation on the 15th day of March, 1972. 3. In this Order "unsweetened milk powder commodity" means any commodity which contains milk powder and which is not a product specified in the Schedule to the Agricultural and Fishery Products (Regulation of Export) Act, 1947 (Transfer of Powers) Order, 1956 ( S.I. No. 52 of 1956 ). 4. Subject to Article 5 of this Order, the exportation of any unsweetened milk powder commodity save under and in accordance with a licence in that behalf issued under the Agricultural and Fishery Products (Regulation of Export) Act, 1947 (No. 18 of 1947), is hereby prohibited. 5. This Order shall not apply to the exportation by parcel post of an unsweetened milk powder commodity. GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 8th day of March, 1972. JAMES GIBBONS, Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries. EXPLANATORY NOTE. The effect of this Order is to prohibit the exportation, save under licence, of unsweetened commodities containing milk powder. The Order does not apply to exportation by parcel post.
