HEALTH ACT, 1970 (ADAPTATION) REGULATIONS, 1973. The Minister for Health in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 85 of the Health Act, 1970 (No. 1 of 1970 ) hereby makes the following regulations:— 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Health Act, 1970 (Adaptation) Regulations, 1973. 2. The references in sub-paragraphs (vii) and (viii) of paragraph (
- a)of subsection
(2)of section 12 of the Nurses Act, 1950 (No. 27 of 1950) to councils of counties and to councils of county boroughs respectively shall be construed as references to health boards established under the Health Act, 1970 . GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Minister for Health this 21st day of December, 1973. BRENDAN CORISH, Minister for Health. EXPLANATORY NOTE. These Regulations adapt the references to representatives of county councils and County Borough Councils to mean representatives of health boards, for the purpose of making appointments to An Bord Altranais.
