OIREACHTAS (ALLOWANCES TO MEMBERS) (TRAVELLING FACILITIES) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1974. I, RICHIE RYAN, Minister for the Public Service, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 5
(1)of the Oireachtas (Allowances to Members) and Ministerial and Parliamentary Offices (Amendment) Act, 1964 (No. 14 of 1964), hereby make the following regulations: 1.
(1)These Regulations may be cited as the Oireachtas (Allowances to Members) (Travelling Facilities) (Amendment) Regulations, 1974.
(2)The Oireachtas (Allowances to Members) (Travelling Facilities) Regulations, 1964 to 1972, and these Regulations may be cited together as the Oireachtas (Allowances to Members) (Travelling Facilities) Regulations, 1964 to
- These Regulations shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 1st day of May,
- The Oireachtas (Allowances to Members) (Travelling Facilities) Regulations, 1964 ( S.I. No. 281 of 1964 ), are hereby amended by the substitution for the Schedule thereto (inserted by the Oireachtas (Allowances to Members Travelling Facilities) Regulations, 1972 ( S.I. No. 156 of 1972 )) of the following: "SCHEDULE. Class of Rates Primary Rate (payable for first 15,000 miles travelled in any year commencing 1st April) Secondary Rate (payable for miles travelled between 15,000 and 20,000 in any year commencing 1st April) Tertiary Rate (payable for miles travelled over 20,000 in any year commencing 1st April) per mile per mile per mile p p p Class A—Motor cars more than 8 H.P. but less than 10 H.P. 5·9 4·4 4·4 Class B—Motor cars not less than 10 H.P. but less than 12 H.P. 7·2 5·0 4·4 Class C—Motor cars not less than 12 H.P. but less than 14 H.P. 8·1 5·6 4·4 Class D—Motor cars not less than 14 H.P. but less than 20 H.P. 8·4 6·3 4·4 Class E—Motor cars not less than 20 H.P. but less than 26 H.P. 9·1 6·9 4·4 Class F—Motor cars not less than 26 H.P. 9·4 7·5 4·4 GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 5th day of June,
