HARBOUR RATES (WATERFORD PORT AND HARBOUR) ORDER, 1974. I, PETER BARRY, Minister for Transport and Power, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 104 of the Harbours Act, 1946 (No. 9 of 1946), and the Transport, Fuel and Power (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1959 ( S.I. No. 125 of 1959 ), and after due compliance with section 106 of that Act, hereby order as follows: 1.
(1)This Order may be cited as the Harbour Rates (Waterford Port and Harbour) Order, 1974.
(2)This Order shall come into operation on the 3rd day of January,
- The Waterford Harbour Act, 1919, shall be construed and have effect as if, for the matter contained in the Schedule to that Act (inserted by the Harbour Rates (Waterford Port and Harbour) Order, 1972 ( S.I. No. 149 of 1972 )), there were substituted the matter contained in the Schedule to this Order.
- The Schedule to the Harbour Rates (Waterford Harbour) Order, 1954 ( S.I. No. 225 of 1954 ) (inserted by the Harbour Rates (Waterford Port and Harbour) Order, 1972), is hereby amended by— ( a ) the substitution in the third column of that Schedule at reference number 1 for "12p", "16p" and "18p", of "14p", "18p" and "20p", respectively, and ( b ) the substitution in the third column of that Schedule at reference number 5 for "1p" of "2p".
- The Harbour Rates (Waterford Cranage Rates) Order, 1964 ( S.I. No. 172 of 1964 ) and Article 4 of, and the Third Schedule to, the Harbour Rates (Waterford Port and Harbour) Order, 1972 are hereby revoked. SCHEDULE.
