No. 16 of 1975. DUBLIN TRAFFIC AND PARKING (PEDESTRIANISATION) TEMPORARY RULES, 1975. I, PATRICK MALONE, Commissioner of the Garda Síochána, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 89 and 90 of the Road Traffic Act, 1961 (No. 24 of 1961) (as amended by section 6 of the Road Traffic Act, 1968 (No. 25 of 1968)), hereby make the following temporary rules in respect of the area comprising the county borough of Dublin : 1. These rules may be cited as the Dublin Traffic and Parking (Pedestrianisation) Temporary Rules, 1975. 2. These rules shall come into operation on the 31st day of January, 1975. 3.
(1)A person shall not enter a street or portion of a street to which this rules applies with a vehicle, or park a vehicle in such a street or portion thereof for any period, during the period from 11.00 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. on any weekday.
(2)This rule applies to each street named, or portion of a street described, at a reference number in the Schedule to these rules.
(3)This rules does not apply to— ( a ) any vehicle which is being used in connection with— (
- i)the removal of any abstruction to traffic, (
- ii)the maintenance, improvement or reconstruction of any street or part of a street, (iii) the provision, alteration or repair of any sewer or of any main, pipe or apparatus for the supply of gas, water or electricity or any telegraphic or telephonic line, or ( b ) a fire engine or ambulance or any vehicle in the service of the Garda Siochána while being used in pursuance of statutory powers or duties. (1)Henry Street.
(2)The portion of Henry Place from Henry Street to a point 15 yards north of the junction of Henry Place and Henry Street.
(3)The portion of Moore Street from Henry Street to a point 20 yards south of Henry Place.
(4)The portion of Cole's Lane from Henry Street to Sampson's Lane.
(5)The portion of Mary Street from the western building line at the junction with Liffey Street to the eastern building line at the junction with Jervis Street. GIVEN under my hand, this 8th day of January,

(1)prohibits a person from entering with or parking a vehicle within the pedestrianised streets or portion of streets set out in the schedule to the rules between 11.00 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. on weekdays. 2. Rule 3
