AmendmentsLeasuithe S.I. No. 249 of 1975. AIR NAVIGATION (EUROCONTROL) (ROUTE CHARGES) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1975. I, PETER BARRY, Minister for Transport and Power, in exercise of the power conferred on me by section 12 of the Air Navigation (Eurocontrol) Act, 1963 (No. 15 of 1963), as amended by section 1 of the Air Navigation (Eurocontrol) Act, 1971 (No. 19 of 1971), hereby make the following regulations (the charges thereunder having been determined by me in pursuance of tariffs approved of under an international agreement to which the State is a party): 1.
(1)These Regulations may be cited as the Air Navigation (Eurocontrol) (Route Charges) (Amendment) Regulations, 1975, and shall come into operation on the 1st day of November, 1975.
(2)The Air Navigation (Eurocontrol) (Route Charges) Regulations, 1971 to 1973, and these Regulations may be cited together as the Air Navigation (Eurocontrol) (Route Charges) Regulations, 1971 to 1975. 2.
(1)The Air Navigation (Eurocontrol) (Route Charges) Regulations, 1971 ( S.I. No. 290 of 1971 ), are hereby amended as follows: ( a ) in paragraph
(1)of Regulation 5 ", subject to paragraph
(7)", shall be deleted and "49705 United States dollars" shall be substituted for "23886 United States dollars" (inserted by the Air Navigation (Eurocontrol) (Route Charges) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations, 1973 ( S.I. No. 290 of 1973 )), ( b ) paragraph
(7)of Regulation 5 shall be deleted, and ( c ) for the Schedule there shall be substituted the Schedule set out in the Annex to these Regulations.
(2)The reference in the preceding paragraph to the Air Navigation (Eurocontrol) (Route Charges) Regulations, 1971, is to those Regulations as amended by the regulations amending them which were made before the commencement of these Regulations and of which the last is the Air Navigation (Eurocontrol) (Route Charges) (Amendment) (No. 3) Regulations, 1973 ( S.I. These regulations provide for the amendment of existing charges to increase the rate of recovery of the cost of the provision of route facilities and services to 60%. They also provide for the amendment of existing regulations so as to discontinue the reduction granted in respect of aircraft of 2-57 metric tons.
