No. 284/1975 - Control of Imports (Quota No. 52) (Miscellaneous Textile Piece Goods) (Amendment) Order, 1975. AmendmentsLeasuithe S.I. No. 284 of 1975. CONTROL OF IMPORTS (QUOTA No. 52) (MISCELLANEOUS TEXTILE PIECE GOODS) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1975. The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section II of the Control of Imports Act, 1934 (No. 12 of 1934) hereby make the following Order: 1. This Order may be cited as the Control of Imports (Quota No. 52) (Miscellaneous Textile Piece Goods) (Amendment) Order, 1975, and shall come into operation on the first day of January, 1976. 2. The Control of Imports (Quota No. 52) (Miscellaneous Textiles) Order, 1964 ( S.I. No. 298 of 1964 ), is hereby amended by the insertion after paragraph 4 of the following paragraph: "4A.
(1)The prohibition on importation effected by paragraph 4 of this Order shall not apply to goods which are specified at a tariff heading number or a tariff code number mentioned in Part I of Table I to this paragraph and are shown to the satisfaction of the Revenue Commissioners to have been manufactured in or to have originated in, a country specified in Part II of that Table.
(2)The prohibition on importation effected by paragraph 4 of this Order shall not apply to any goods which are specified at a tariff code number or numbers mentioned in column
(1)of Part I of Table II to this paragraph and are shown to the satisfaction of the Revenue Commissioners to have been manufactured in, or to have originated in, a country specified in column
(2)of that Table opposite the mention in column
(1)of the tariff code number or numbers.
(3)The prohibition on importation effected by paragraph 4 of this Order shall not apply to those goods which: ( a ) are specified at a tariff code number or numbers mentioned in column
(1)of Part II of Table II to this paragraph. ( b ) are referred to in column
(2)of that Part opposite the mention in column
(1), and ( c ) are shown to the satisfaction of the Revenue Commissioners to have been manufactured in, or to have originated in, a country specified in column
(3)of that Part opposite the mention in column
