MAXIMUM PRICES (PRE-PACKAGED COAL) ORDER, 1975. I, JUSTIN KEATING, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 22C (inserted by the Prices (Amendment) Act, 1965 (No. 23 of 1965)), of the Prices Act, 1958 (No. 4 of 1958), hereby order as follows : 1.
(1)This Order may be cited as the Maximum Prices (Pre-packaged Coal) Order, 1975.
(2)This Order shall come into operation on the 18th day of January,
- The Maximum Prices (Pre-packaged Coal) Order, 1974 ( S.I. No. 65 of 1974 ), is hereby amended by the substitution of the following Article for Article 2 (inserted by the Maximum Prices (Pre-packaged Coal) (No. 2) Order, 1974 ( S.I. No. 262 of 1974 )): "
- The maximum prices at which coal packed in a closed container or package may be sold by retail shall be— ( a ) in the case of a container or package containing 28 pounds or 12½ kilograms of coal, £0.56, ( b ) in the case of a container or package containing 56 pounds or 25 kilograms of coal, £1.07, and ( c ) in the case of a container or package containing more than 56 pounds or 25 kilograms of coal, a sum calculated at the rate of £2.08 per hundredweight or per 50 kilograms, as the case may be.
