The Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 22A and 22C (inserted by the Prices (Amendment) Act, 1965 (No. 23 of 1965)) of the Prices Act, 1958 (No. 4 of 1958), as amended by the Prices (Amendment) Act, 1972 (No. 20 of 1972), and the Prices Stabilisation Order, 1973 ( S.I. No. 96 of 1973 ) hereby orders as follows: 1. This Order may be cited as the Maximum Prices (Petrol) Order, 1976. 2. This Order shall come into operation on the 31st day of January, 1976. 3. The maximum price at which petrol, of a brand or brand and grade mentioned in column

(2)of the Schedule to this Order at a particular reference, shall be sold by retail shall be the price mentioned in column
(3)of that Schedule at that reference. 4. The Maximum Prices (Petrol) (No. 2) Order, 1975 ( S.I. No. 300 of 1975 ), is hereby revoked. Ref.
