The Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 103 , 112 and 395 of the Companies Act, 1963 (No. 33 of 1963), hereby orders as follows: 1. This Order may be cited as the Companies (Fees) Order, 1976. 2. This Order shall come into operation on the 23rd day of March, 1976. 3. The Eighth Schedule to the Companies Act, 1963 (No. 33 of 1963), is hereby altered by— ( a ) the substitution for the matter contained in the first and second columns of Part I of that Schedule of the following: "Matter in respect of which Fee is payable Amount of Fee For registration of a company £50 For registration of change of company name £50 For registration of any existing company except such companies as are by this Act exempt from payment of fees in respect of registration under this Act £50 For registration of an increase in the share capital of any company An amount equal to the difference, if any, between £50 and the total amount already paid. For registration of an increase in the membership of a company limited by guarantee or an unlimited company. An amount equal to the difference, if any, between £50 and the total amount already paid. For registering any document by this Act required or authorised to be registered, or required to be delivered, sent or forwarded to the registrar, other than in connection with the change of company name. £0.50" For making a record of any fact by this Act required or authorised to be recorded by the registrar, other than in connection with the change of a company name. £0.50 " and ( b ) the deletion of paragraphs 1, 2 and 3 of Part II of the Schedule. 4. Where the Minister directs, pursuant to section 23

(2)of the Companies Act, 1963 , that a company shall change its name, any fee required to be paid in respect of the registration of the alteration of the name of any such company shall not be charged, levied or paid.
  1. The Companies (Fees) Order, 1964 ( S.I. No. 44 of 1964 ), is hereby amended by the substitution of Article 3 of the following: "

The following fees are hereby prescribed for the purpose of section 103 of the Act: For registering a charge required to be registered under Part IV (excluding section 112) of the Act £1 For registering particulars of a series of debentures under Part IV of the Act £1 For registering particulars of charges under section 112 of the Act £0.25 For inspecting the register of charges—for each inspection £0.05" GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Minister for Industry and Commerce this 15th day of March,
