CONTROL OF EXPORTS (SOUTHERN RHODESIA) ORDER, 1977. I, JUSTIN KEATING, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 of the Agricultural and Fishery Products (Regulation of Export) Act, 1947 (No. 18 of 1947), section 2 of the Control of Exports (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1956 (No. 1 of 1956) (which Act is continued in force by the Control of Exports (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1956 (Continuance) Act, 1971 (No. 5 of 1971)), and the Agricultural and Fishery Products (Regulation of Export) Act, 1947 (Transfer of Powers) Order, 1956 ( S.I. No. 52 of 1956 ) (as amended by the Agricultural and Fishery Products (Regulation of Export) Act, 1947 (Transfer of Powers) Order, 1956 (Amendment) Order, 1963 ( S.I. No. 21 of 1963 )), and after consultation with the Minister for Foreign Affairs, hereby order as follows: 1.
(1)This Order may be cited as the Control of Exports (Southern Rhodesia) Order, 1977.
(2)This Order shall come into operation on the 25th day of June,
- The exportation to Southern Rhodesia of any goods to which this Order applies is hereby prohibited save under and in accordance with a licence.
- This Order applies to goods of a kind mentioned in the first column of the Schedule to the Imposition of Duties (No. 200) (Customs and Excise Duties and Form of Tariff) Order, 1972 ( S.I. No. 220 of 1972 ), at any tariff code number, other than products to which the Agricultural and Fishery Products (Regulation of Export to Southern Rhodesia) Order, 1969 ( S.I. No. 105 of 1969 ), applies. GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 3rd day of June,

The effect of this Order is to enable the Minister for Industry and Commerce to control the export to Southern Rhodesia of the goods specified in the Order.
