I, RICHIE RYAN, Minister for the Public Service, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 5

(1)of the Oireachtas (Allowances to Members) and Ministerial and Parliamentary Offices (Amendment) Act, 1964 (No. 14 of 1964), and the Public Service (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1973 ( S.I. No. 294 of 1973 ), hereby make the following regulations: 1.
(1)These Regulations may be cited as the Oireachtas (Allowances to Members) (Travelling Facilities) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations, 1977.
(2)The collective citation, the Oireachtas (Allowances to Members) (Travelling Facilities) Regulations, 1964 to 1977, includes these Regulations.
  1. These Regulations shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 1st day of February,
  3. The Oireachtas (Allowances to Members) (Travelling Facilities) Regulations, 1964 ( S.I. No. 281 of 1964 ), are hereby amended by the substitution of "£5 per day" for "£3 per day" (inserted by the Oireachtas (Allowances to Members) (Travelling Facilities) (Amendment) Regulations, 1972 ( S.I. No. 156 of 1972 )). GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 4th day of July,
