I, GENE FITZGERALD, Minister for Labour, in exercise of the power conferred on me by section 21 of the Redundancy Payments Act, 1979 (No. 7 of 1979), hereby make the following Order: 1. This Order may be cited as the Redundancy Payments Act, 1979 (Commencement) Order, 1979. 2. The 6th of April, 1979, is hereby fixed as the day on which the Redundancy Payments Act, 1979 (No. 7 of 1979), shall come into operation. GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 30th day of March, 1979.
