IRISH NATIONALITY AND CITIZENSHIP (FEES) REGULATIONS, 1980. I, GERARD COLLINS, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the Irish Nationality and Citizenship Act, 1956 (No. 26 of 1956), hereby, with the consent of the Minister for Finance, make the following Regulations: 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Irish Nationality and Citizenship (Fees) Regulations, 1980. 2. These Regulations shall come into operation on 1st day of June, 1980. 3. Regulation 14 of the Irish Nationality and Citizenship Regulations, 1956 ( S.I. No. 216 of 1956 ) is hereby amended by the substitution for the fees set out therein of the fees set out in the following Schedule. SCHEDULE Item Fee £ I Declaration On the making of a declaration by an alien woman accepting Irish citizenship. 25.00 II On Issue of Certificate of Naturalisation ( a ) where the application is made on behalf of a minor. 10.00 ( b ) where the application is made by a married woman whose husband is or is about to become an Irish citizen by naturalisation. 25.00 ( c ) where the application is made by a widow whose husband was, immediately before his death, an Irish citizen and who has not, subsequent to her husband's death, become a naturalised citizen of any other country. 25.00 ( d ) where the application is made by a person born in Ireland who renounced his Irish citizenship in accordance with section 21 of the Act. 25.00 ( e ) in the case of any other application. 100.00 GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 30th day of April, 1980. EXPLANATORY NOTE. The purpose of this Order is to prescribe the fees payable for nationality and citizenship certificates under the Irish Nationality and Citizenship Act, 1956 (No. 26 of 1956). The present fees are prescribed in Regulation 14 of the Irish Nationality and Citizenship Regulations, 1956 ( S.I. No. 216 of 1956 ) which is amended by this Order.
