COMMITTEES OF AGRICULTURE (NOMINATIONS BY VOLUNTARY RURAL ORGANISATIONS) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1980. I, RAY MacSHARRY, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Rule 2
(2)(inserted by section 26
(1)(a) of the Agriculture (An Chomhairle Oiliúna Talmhaíochta) Act, 1979 (No. 9 of 1979)) of the Second Schedule to the Agriculture Act, 1931 ) (No. 8 of 1931), hereby order as follows:—
- This Order may be cited as the Committees of Agriculture (Nominations by Voluntary Rural Organisations) (Amendment) Order,
- The Schedule to the Committees of Agriculture (Nominations by Voluntary Rural Organisations) Order, 1980, is hereby amended in relation to the county of Louth by the substitution, for "Farmers' Defence Association" in column
(2), of "The Irish Small Farmers' Association", being the name by which the organisation is now known. GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 20th day of August, 1980. RAY MacSHARRY, Minister for Agriculture. EXPLANATORY NOTE. This Order amends the Schedule to the Committees of Agriculture (Nominations by Voluntary Rural Organisations) Order, 1980 by inserting, in the case of Co. Louth, for the "Farmers' Defence Association" the name by which that organisation is now known, viz. "The Irish Small Farmers' Association".
