AmendmentsLeasuithe S.I. No. 279 of 1980. ROAD TRAFFIC (SPEED LIMITS) (COUNTY OF CAVAN) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1980. The Minister for the Environment in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 5 and 45 of the Road Traffic Act, 1961 (No. 24 of 1961) and section 46 of the said Act as amended by section 25 of the Road Traffic Act, 1968 (No. 25 of 1968) hereby makes the following Regulations:— 1.
(1)These Regulations may be cited as the Road Traffic (Speed Limits) (County of Cavan) (Amendment) Regulations, 1980.
(2)The Road Traffic (Speed Limits) (County of Cavan) Regulations, 1979 ( S.I. No. 283 of 1979 ) and these Regulations shall be construed as one and may be cited together as the Road Traffic (Speed Limits) (County of Cavan) Regulations, 1979 and
- These Regulations shall come into operation on the 15th day of September,
- The Second Schedule to the Road Traffic (Speed Limits) (County of Cavan) Regulations, 1979 is hereby amended by the addition of the following reference— "
- The following roads at Dowra:— ( a ) The Drumkeeran-Ballyconnel road between a point 165 metres south-west of its junction with the Blacklion Road and the boundary between the counties of Cavan and Leitrim at the Shannon Bridge. ( b ) Main Street and its continuation as the Blacklion Road for a distance of 200 metres from the junction of Main Street with the Drumkeeran-Ballyconnell road."
