No. 169/1981 - Road Traffic (Speed Limits) (County Borough of Dublin and County of Dublin) (Amendment) Regulations, 1981. AmendmentsLeasuithe The Minister for the Environment in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 5 and 45 of the Road Traffic Act, 1961 (No. 24 of 1961) and section 46 of the said Act as amended by section 25 of the Road Traffic Act, 1968 (No. 25 of 1968) hereby makes the following Regulations:— 1.
(1)These Regulations may be cited as the Road Traffic (Speed Limits) (County Borough of Dublin and County of Dublin) (Amendment) Regulations, 1981.
(2)The Road Traffic (Speed Limits) (County Borough of Dublin and County of Dublin) Regulations, 1977 and 1978 and these Regulations shall be construed together and may be cited collectively as the Road Traffic (Speed Limits) (County Borough of Dublin and County of Dublin) Regulations, 1977 to 1981. 2. These Regulations shall come into operation on the 25th day of May, 1981. 3. The Third Schedule to the Road Traffic (Speed Limits) (County Borough of Dublin and County of Dublin) Regulations, 1977 ( S.I. No. 358 of 1977 ) is hereby amended as follows:— (
- i)by the addition of the following matter at reference 4 (a)— "The New Belgard Road.", (
- ii)by the substitution for the matter at reference 4 (
- f)of the following— "( f ) Belgard Road and its continuation as the Belgard Road Extension other than the portion of the said road between its northernmost and southernmost junctions with the New Belgard Road.", (iii) by the deletion of the matter at reference 4 (m). The Regulations amend the Road Traffic (Speed Limits) (County Borough of Dublin and County of Dublin) Regulations, 1977 and 1978 and alter the speed limits applicable to certain roads in County Dublin.
