AmendmentsLeasuithe I, LIAM KAVANAGH, Minister for the Public Service, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1973 (No. 14 of 1973), and after consideration of the advice of the Public Service Advisory Council, hereby make the following Regulations: 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Public Service (Designation of Bodies) Regulations, 1981. 2. Each body referred to or specified in the Schedule to these Regulations is hereby designated for the purpose of the definition of “the public service” in section 1 of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1973 (No. 14 of 1973). SCHEDULE Every body that is a local authority for the purpose of the Local Government Act, 1941 .
