CHILDREN ACT, 1941 (SECTION 21) REGULATIONS, 1981. I, JOHN WILSON, Minister for Education, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 21 of the Children Act, 1941 (No. 12 of 1941) as adapted by the Health (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1947 (S. R. & O., No. 58 of 1947), hereby with the consent of the Minister for Health and the Minister for Finance, make the following regulations: 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Children Act, 1941 (Section 21) Regulations, 1981. 2. The payments to be made by local authorities to the managers of certified schools for the maintenance of such children and youthful offenders as such local authorities are liable to maintain under Section 74 of the Children Act, 1908, as amended by Section 20 of the Children Act, 1941 (No. 12 of 1941), shall, with effect from the first day of January, 1981, be £27 per week for each child in an industrial school and each youthful offender in a reformatory school. 3. The Children Act, 1941 , (Section 21) Regulations 1980. ( S.I. No. 212 of 1980 ) are hereby revoked. GIVEN under my Official Seal this 12th day of March, 1981. JOHN P. WILSON Minister for Education.
