SOCIAL WELFARE (MATERNITY ALLOWANCE) (ADDITIONAL BENEFIT) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1982. The Minister for Social Welfare, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 3 of the Social Welfare (Consolidation) Act, 1981 (No. 1 of 1981 ) and by Section 75 of that Act (as substituted by the Social Welfare (Amendment) Act, 1981 (No. 3 of 1981)), hereby makes the following Regulations:— 1.
(1)These Regulations may be cited as the Social Welfare (Maternity Allowance) (Additional Benefit) (Amendment) Regulations, 1982.
(2)These Regulations and the Social Welfare (Maternity Allowance) (Additional Benefit) Regulations, 1981 may be cited together as the Social Welfare (Maternity Allowance) (Additional Benefit) Regulations, 1981 to 1982. 3. These Regulations shall come into effect on the 5th day of April, 1982. 3. Sub-article
(3)of article 2 of the Social Welfare (Maternity Allowance) (Additional Benefit) Regulations, 1981 ( S.I. No. 138 of 1981 ) is hereby amended by the substitution of "£70.69" for "£57.18" and the substitution of "6th day of April 1980" for "6th day of April, 1979".
