INSURANCE (PROVISION OF SERVICES) ORDER, 1983. I, FRANK CLUSKEY, Minister for Trade, Commerce and Tourism, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2
(1)of the Insurance Act, 1953 (No. 7 of 1953) (inserted by the Insurance Act, 1983 (No. 5 of 1983) ), hereby order as follows:—
- This Order may be cited as the Insurance (Provision of Services) Order, 1983, and shall come into operation on the 23rd day of June,
- The following services are hereby specified for the purpose of section 2
(1)of the Insurance Act, 1953 , (No. 7 of 1953) (inserted by the Insurance Act, 1983 (No. 5 of 1983)):— ( a ) agricultural development and processing services; ( b ) construction-related services; ( c ) medical services; ( d ) training services covering all activities; ( e ) technical and general consulting services, including commercial laboratory services and research and development services; ( f ) international financial services; ( g ) computer software and data processing services; ( h ) public administration services; ( i ) media recording and publishing services. GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 21st day of June, 1983. F. CLUSKEY, Minister for Trade, Commerce and Tourism. EXPLANATORY NOTE. This Order specifies, in Paragraph 2, those service activities in respect of which the Minister for Trade, Commerce and Tourism may provide export credit insurance.
