EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES (REVOCATION OF CERTAIN STATUTORY INSTRUMENTS) REGULATIONS, 1984. I, JOHN BRUTON, Minister for Industry, Trade, Commerce and Tourism, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act, 1972 (No. 27 of 1972), and for the purpose of giving effect to the provisions of the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community and Acts adopted by the institutions of the European Communities regarding removal of measures which have an effect equivalent to a quantitative restriction on trade, hereby make the following regulations: 1.
(1)These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Revocation of Certain Statutory Instruments) Regulations, 1984.
(2)These Regulations shall come into operation on the 6th day of August,
