CONTROL OF EXPORTS ORDER, 1983 (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1984 I, JOHN BRUTON, Minister for Industry, Trade, Commerce and Tourism, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 of the Control of Exports Act, 1983 (No. 35 of 1983), and the Trade, Commerce and Tourism (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1983 ( S.I. No. 384 of 1983 ), and after consultation with the Minister for Foreign Affairs, hereby order as follows: 1.
(1)This Order may be cited as the Control of Exports Order, 1983 (Amendment) Order, 1984.
(2)This Order shall come into operation on the 12th day of November,
- The Control of Exports Order, 1983 ( S.I. No. 405 of 1983 ), is hereby amended by—
(1)the insertion in Part II of the Schedule of "Technical data in physical form important to the design, manufacture, construction, operation, repair or maintenance of the articles specified in this Part.",
(2)the insertion in Part III of the Schedule of "Technical data in physical form which has been published or made available without restriction on dissemination". GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 9th day of November, 1984. JOHN BRUTON. Minister for Industry, Trade, Commerce and Tourism. EXPLANATORY NOTE. The effect of this Order is to enable the Minister for Industry, Trade, Commerce and Tourism to control exports of technical data (blue prints, sketches etc.) relating to articles already subject to export control.
