INDUSTRIAL TRAINING (CHEMICAL AND ALLIED PRODUCTS COMMITTEE) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1984. An Chomhairle Oiliúna, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 24 of the Industrial Training Act, 1967 (No. 5 of 1967), hereby makes the following order:— 1. This Order may be cited as the Industrial Training (Chemical and Allied Products Committee) (Amendment) Order, 1984. 2. In this Order "the Order of 1972" means the Industrial Training (Chemical and Allied Products Committee) Order, 1972 as amended. 3. The Industrial Training (Chemical and Allied Products Committee) Order, 1972, the Industrial Training (Chemical and Allied Products Committee) (Amendment) Order, 1973, the Industrial Training (Chemical and Allied Products Committee) (Amendment) Order, 1982 and this Order may be cited together as the Industrial Training (Chemical and Allied Products Committee) Orders, 1972 to 1984. 4. Article 3 of the Order of 1972 is hereby amended by the substitution of "twenty-seven ordinary members" for "twenty-two ordinary members". 5. The following Article is hereby substituted for Article 5 of the Order of 1972— "5. The ordinary members of the Committee shall include twelve workers' members, twelve employers' members, one educational member and two other ordinary members.". GIVEN under the Seal of An Chomhairle Oiliúna this 16th day of April, 1984. The Seal of An Chomhairle Oiliúna was affixed in the presence of:— W. B. MULLIGAN, a member of An Chomhairle Oiliúna authorised by An Chomhairle Oiliúna to act in that behalf and J. B. GERAGHTY, an officer of An Chomhairle Oiliúna authorised by An Chomhairle Oiliúna to act in that behalf. EXPLANATORY NOTE. An Chomhairle Oiliúna (The Industrial Training Authority) was established under the Industrial Training Act, 1967 , to promote training in industry and commerce. The Industrial Training (Chemical and Allied Products Committee) Order, 1972, ( S.I. No. 259 of 1972 ) established an industrial training committee, to be known as the Chemical and Allied Products Industry Training Committee, to advise and assist An Chomhairle as respects the performance of its functions. This Order amends the Industrial Training (Chemical and Allied Products Committee) Order, 1972, by increasing the number of ordinary committee members to twenty-seven.
