MEDICAL PREPARATIONS (AMENDMENT OF FEES) REGULATIONS, 1985. The Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 5 and 65 of the Health Act, 1947 (No. 28 of 1947) as amended by section 39 of the Health Act, 1953 (No. 26 of 1953) with the consent of the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following regulations:— 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Medical Preparations (Amendment of Fees) Regulations, 1985. 2. The following article is hereby substituted for article 8 of the Medical Preparations (Wholesale Licences) Regulations, 1974 ( S.I. No. 333 of 1974 )— "8.
(1)There shall be paid to the Minister an annual fee in respect of each wholesaler's licence.
(2)The amount of the annual fee shall be £260 where the selling by wholesale is from a single premises with an additional £100 in respect of each additional such premises." GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Minister for Health this 6th day of June

- ALAN M. DUKES, Minister for Finance. EXPLANATORY NOTE. These Regulations provide for an additional fee to be charged for each additional outlet held by a wholesaler of medical preparations. The basic fee charged for licences granted in respect of the sale by wholesale of medical preparations remains unchanged.
