2. STATE FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS (SPECIAL PROVISIONS) ACT, 1984 (SECTION 2

(3)) (NO. 3) ORDER, 1985. I, ALAN M. DUKES, Minister for Finance, being satisfied that the payment of the interest or dividends due on the 15th day of February, 1985, on the securities specified in Article 2 of the Order following and due on the 1st day of March, 1985, on the securities specified in Article 3 of the Order following cannot be effected and that the redemption due on the 15th day of February, 1985, of the security specified in Article 4 of the Order following cannot be effected, hereby, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2

(3)of the State Financial Transactions (Special Provisions) Act, 1984 (No. 23 of 1984), order as follows: 1. This Order may be cited as the State Financial Transactions (Special Provisions) Act, 1984 (Section 2

(3)) (No. 3) Order,

2. The payment of the interest or dividends due on the 15th day of February, 1985, on the outstanding stock of: ( a ) 11 ½% Funding Stock, 1985, ( b ) 15 ½% Funding Loan, 1986, and, ( c ) 11 ½% Exchequer Stock, 1990, is hereby postponed.
3. The payment of interest or dividends due on the 1st day of March, 1985, on the outstanding stock of: ( a ) 12¾% Funding Stock, 1987, ( b ) 11% Exchequer Stock, 1987, and, ( c ) 15% Conversion Stock, 1988, is hereby postponed.
4. The redemption due on the 15th day of February, 1985, of the outstanding stock of the 11½% Funding Stock, 1985, is hereby postponed. GIVEN under my Official Seal this 13th day of February,
5. ALAN M. DUKES, Minister for Finance. EXPLANATORY NOTE. This order postpones the payment of interest or dividends due on 15 February, and 1 March, 1985, in respect of the securities specified in the Order. The redemption on 15 February, 1985, of the 11½% Funding Stock, 1985, is also postponed.
