No. 347 of 1985. WILDLIFE (WILD BIRDS) (OPEN SEASONS) (AMENDMENT) (No. 2) ORDER, 1985. I, PADDY O`TOOLE, Minister for Fisheries and Forestry, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 24 of the Wildlife Act, 1976 (No. 39 of 1976), as adapted by the Fisheries (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1978 ( S.I. No. 195 of 1978 ), hereby order as follows: 1.
(1)This Order may be cited as the Wildlife (Wild Birds) (Open Seasons) (Amendment) (No. 2) Order, 1985.
(2)The collective citation, the Wildlife (Wild Birds) (Open Seasons) Orders, 1979 to 1985 shall include this Order.
- Notwithstanding anything in the Wildlife (Wild Birds) (Open Seasons) Order, 1979 ( S.I. No. 192 of 1979 ), as amended, the following species of protected wild bird, namely, Greenland White-fronted geese, may be hunted in the county of Wexford from the 16th day of November 1985 to the 4th day of January 1986, both dates inclusive. EXPLANATORY NOTE The effect of this Order is to permit the hunting of Greenland White-fronted geese from the 16th November 1985 to the 4th January 1986 (both days inclusive) in the county of Wexford only.
