PRISONS ACT, 1970 (SECTION 7) (NO. 2) ORDER, 1985. I, MICHAEL NOONAN, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 7
(1)of the Prisons Act, 1970 (No. 11 of 1970), and after consultation with the Visiting Committee of Saint Patrick's Institution, hereby order as follows:
- This Order may be cited as the Prisons Act, 1970 (Section 7) (No. 2) Order,
- This Order shall come into operation on the 24th day of October,
- The Prisons Act, 1970 (Section 7) Order, 1985 ( S.I. No. 118 of 1985 ), is hereby amended by the substitution for Article 3
(2)of the following: "
(2)This section shall be in operation for the period of twelve months commencing on the 26th day of April, 1985, and shall cease to be in operation upon the expiration of that period". This Order continues in operation Section 7 of the Prisons Act, 1970 for a further period of six months.
