LITTER ACT, 1982 (SECTION 5 PAYMENT) REGULATIONS, 1986. The Minister for the Environment in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 5
(4)of the Litter Act, 1982 (No. 11 of 1982) hereby makes the following Regulations:—
- These Regulations may be cited as the Litter Act, 1982 (Section 5 Payment) Regulations,
- These Regulations shall come into effect on the 1st day of July,
- The amount standing specified in subsection
(1)(b) of section 5 of the Litter Act, 1982 shall be £
- GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Minister for the Environment this 1st day of June,
- JOHN BOLAND, Minister for the Environment. EXPLANATORY NOTE. These Regulations vary from £5 to £25 the amount which a person who is liable to be prosecuted for an offence under section 3 of the Litter Act, 1982 , may pay to the local authority within 21 days of the date of the giving of a notice pursuant to section 5 of that Act.
