LOCAL GOVERNMENT (SANITARY SERVICES) ACT, 1948 (SECTION 34) (PART OF COUNTY OF DONEGAL) ORDER, 1986 The Minister for the Environment, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by subsection

(2)of section 34 of the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948 (No. 3 of 1948) hereby orders as follows:—
  1. This Order may be cited as the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948 (section 34) (part of County of Donegal) Order,
  3. On the seventh day after the date of this Order, section 34 of the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948 , shall come into operation in that part of the County Health District of Donegal described in the Schedule hereto. SCHEDULE. Those parts of the townlands of Linsfort, Ballynarry, Gortyarrigan and Tullyarvan in the District Electoral Divisions of Desertegny and Buncrana enclosed by a line starting at the southern boundary of the .277 acre field in the townland of Ballynarry and thence in a north-easterly direction along the said boundary and its imaginary projection in a north-easterly direction through Crockacashel to the point where the said imaginary projection meets the southern boundary of the 1.723 acre field in the said townland and thence in an easterly direction along the said southern boundary and along the southern boundary of the 2.348 acre field and along the south-eastern boundary of the 1.462 acre field known as Carolina to its intersection with County road number 421, thence north-west along County road number 421 to the junction with County road number 418 to four roads at Gortyarrigan, thence along County road number 349 to the intersection with Meenalooban townland boundary thence south-west along the common boundary of Meenalooban and Linsfort townlands to its intersection with the high water mark north of Mount Paul.   4. JOHN BOLAND, Minister for the Environment. EXPLANATORY NOTE. The effect of this Order is to bring section 34 of the local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948 , into operation in that part of the County Health District of Donegal consisting of the lands named in the Schedule to the Order. Section 34 of that Act authorises a sanitary authority to grant to the occupier of land within that part of their sanitary district in which that section is in operation, or with the consent of such occupier to a camping organisation, a licence authorising the use during a specified period of twelve consecutive months of such land for camping. Camping will not be permissible in the area mentioned unless so licensed, subject to certain exceptions set out in the Act.
