INLAND POST AMENDMENT (No. 37) SCHEME, 1986. AN POST, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 70 of the Postal and Telecommunications Services Act, 1983 (No. 24 of 1983), and with the consent of the Minister for Communications, hereby makes the following Scheme: 1.

(1)This Scheme may be cited as the Inland Post Amendment (No. 37) Scheme, 1986.
(2)This Scheme shall come into operation on the 3rd day of March,
  2. In this Scheme— "the Principal Warrant" means the Inland Post Warrant, 1939 ( S.I. No. 202 of 1939 ). "Scheme No. 29" means the Inland Post Amendment (No. 29) Scheme, 1985 ( S.I. No. 137 of 1985 ).
  3. Regulation 7 of the Inland Post Amendment (No. 4) Warrant, 1953 ( S.I. No. 279 of 1953 ) as amended by Regulation 10 of Scheme No. 29, is hereby amended by the substitution for "ninety pence" of "one hundred and ten pence".
  4. Regulation 16 of the Principal Warrant is hereby amended by the substitution of the following for sub-paragraph
(4): "
(4)Any newspaper not registered as aforesaid or any registered newspaper tendered for transmission other than by its publisher will be charged as a printed packet". 5. Regulation 23
(2)of the Principal Warrant is hereby amended by the substitution for "one hundred pence" (inserted by Regulation 4 of Scheme No. 29) of "one hundred and ten pence".
  1. The First Schedule to the Principal Warrant is hereby amended by the substitution for the entries therein (inserted by Regulation 5 of Scheme No. 29) of the entries in the First Schedule to this Scheme.
  2. The Second Schedule to the Principal Warrant is hereby amended by the substitution for the entries therein (inserted by Regulation 6 of Scheme No. 29) of the entries in the Second Schedule to this Scheme.
  3. The Third Schedule to the Principal Warrant is hereby amended by the substitution for the entries therein (inserted by Regulation 7 of Scheme No. 29) of the entries in the Third Schedule to this Scheme.
  4. The Fourth Schedule to the Principal Warrant is hereby amended by the substitution for the entries therein (inserted by Regulation 8 of Scheme No. 29) of the entries in the Fourth Schedule to this Scheme.
  5. The Fifth Schedule to the Principal Warrant is hereby amended by the substitution for the entries therein (inserted by Regulation 9 of Scheme No. 29) of the entries in the Fifth Schedule to this Scheme.
