FOREIGN PARCEL POST AMENDMENT (No. 22) SCHEME, 1986. AN POST, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 70 of the Postal and Telecommunications Services Act, 1983 (No. 24 of 1983) and with the consent of the Minister for Communications hereby makes the following Scheme: 1.
(1)This Scheme may be cited as the Foreign Parcel Post Amendment (No. 22) Scheme, 1986.
(2)This Scheme shall come into operation on the 3rd day of March,
- In this Scheme: Scheme No. 20 means the Foreign Parcel Post Amendment (No. 20) Scheme 1985 ( S.I. No. 96 of 1985 ).
- The First Schedule of Scheme No. 20 is hereby amended by the substitution for the entries therein of the entries in the First Schedule of this Scheme. FIRST SCHEDULE SCHEDULE OF CHARGES International Service (To places outside the State) Scheduled Service and Scheduled Supplementary Service. United Kingdom Each item Not over 500g Each item First 10 items monthly £10.00 each additional 500g or fraction thereof: £1.50 Next 40 items monthly £ 5.00 Next 50 items monthly(i.e. 51-100) £ 4.00 Volumes in excess of 100 items monthly £ 3.00 European Destinations Each item Not over 500g Each item First 10 items monthly £11.00 Each additional ½Kg. up to 10 Kg. or fraction thereof: £3.00 Next 90 items monthly (i.e. 11-100) £10.00 Volumes in excess of 100 monthly £ 9.00 Each additional ½Kg. over 10 Kg. or fraction thereof: £1.50 Remainder of the World Each item Not over 500g Each item Weight charge per ½Kg or fraction thereof Not over 10 items in any one month £11.00 11th and subsequent items not exceeding 100 in any one month. £10.00 Zone A £5.00 Zone B £5.50 Zone C £6.25 Zone D £7.00 101st and subsequent items in any one month £ 9.00 Collection from sender's premises (available in Dublin and Cork only): £2 per collection service on Scheduled Supplementary Service, with a maximum charge of £24.00 per month.
