AUSTIN DEASY, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 51 of, and the Schedule (inserted by the Agricultural Produce (Meat) (Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1978 (No. 13 of 1978)) to, the Agricultural Produce (Fresh Meat) Act, 1930 (No. 10 of 1930), and the Agriculture and Fisheries (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1977 ( S.I. No. 31 of 1977 ), hereby make the following Regulations, with respect to which, pursuant to section 13

(1)of the Agricultural Produce (Meat) (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1978 ) of the Agricultural Produce (Fresh Meat) Act, 1930 , a draft has been laid before each House of the Oireachtas and a resolution of the draft has been passed by each such House:
  1. These Regulations may be cited as the Agricultural Produce (Fresh Meat) Act, 1930 (Exporter's Licences) (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations,
  3. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No.
  4. of 1937), applies to these Regulations.
  5. The Agricultural Produce (Fresh Meat) Act, 1930 (Exporter's Licences) (Fees) Regulations, 1985 ( S.I. No. 246 of 1985 ), are hereby amended by the insertion after Regulation 3 of the following Regulation:— "3A Notwithstanding the provisions of Regulation 3 of these Regulations, for the purposes of paragraph (b) of Rule 1 of the Schedule (inserted by the Agricultural Produce (Meat) (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1978 ) of the Agricultural Produce (Fresh Meat) Act, 1930 , the sum of £0.50 is hereby prescribed, for the period beginning on the 1st day of July, 1986, and ending on the 30th day of June, 1987, as the appropriate sum for a pork exporter's licence."
