No. 308 of 1988. URBAN RENEWAL (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1987 (TRANSFER OF LAND) ORDER, 1988. The Minister for the Environment, in exercise of the powers vested in him by section 6 of the Urban Renewal (Amendment) Act, 1987 (No. 16 of 1987), after consultation with the B & I Line plc. hereby orders as follows:— 1. This Order may be cited as the Urban Renewal (Amendment) Act, 1987 (Transfer of Land) Order, 1988. 2. This Order shall come into operation on the 29th day of November, 1988. 3. In this Order "Custom House Docks Area" means the Area described in the Schedule to the Urban Renewal Act, 1986 (No. 19 of 1986) as extended under section 2 of the Urban Renewal (Amendment) Act, 1987 . 4. All land held by the B & I Line plc. in the Custom House Docks Area together with all rights, powers and privileges relating to or connected with such land is hereby transferred to the Custom House Docks Development Authority to be held by the Authority for all the estate, rights, title and interest for which the same is held by the B & I Line plc. 5. The land to which this Order relates shall, on the coming into operation of this Order, cease to be within both the limits of the Harbour of Dublin and the limits of the Port of Dublin within the meaning of section 2 of the Dublin Port and Docks Act, 1869.
