No. 103 of 1990. SAFETY, HEALTH AND WELFARE AT WORK ACT, 1989 (REPEALS) ORDER, 1990 I, BERTIE AHERN, Minister for Labour, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 1
(2)and 4
(3)of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act, 1989 (No. 7 of 1989), hereby order as follows: 1.
(1)This Order may be cited as the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act, 1989 (Repeals) Order, 1990.
(2)This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of May,
- Section 28 of the Dangerous Substances Act, 1972 (No. 10 of 1972), is hereby repealed. GIVEN under my Official Seal this 24th day of April,
- BERTIE AHERN, Minister for Labour. EXPLANATORY NOTE. This Order repeals section 28 of the Dangerous Substances Act, 1972 from the 1st day of May,
- That provision is replaced by section 56 of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act, 1989 .
