HEALTH SERVICES (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1990. The Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 5 of the Health Act, 1947 (No. 28 of 1947) and by section 72 of the Health Act, 1970 (No. 1 of 1970 ), hereby makes the following Regulations:— 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Health Services (Amendment) Regulations, 1990. 2. Article 3 of the Health Services (No. 2) Regulations, 1983 ( S.I. No. 139 of 1983 ) (as amended by article 2 of the Health Services (Amendment) Regulations, 1989 ( S.I. No. 113 of 1989 )) is hereby amended by the substitution of "£16,700" for "£16,000" in sub-article
(2)(a).
- These Regulations shall come into operation on the 1st day of June,

- RORY O'HANLON, Minister for Health. EXPLANATORY NOTE. These Regulations amend the Health Services (No. 2) Regulations, 1983 by raising the income ceiling from £16,000 to £16,700 which limits the extent to which services provided under Section 52
(1), 56
(2), 62 and 63 of the Health Act, 1970 are available to certain persons.
