THE HOSPITAL STERILE SUPPLIES BOARD (ESTABLISHMENT) ORDER, 1965, (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1990. The Minister for Health in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 3 and 4 of the Health Corporate Bodies Act, 1961 (No. 27 of 1961) hereby orders as follows:— 1. This Order may be cited as the Hospital Sterile Supplies Board (Establishment) Order, 1965 (Amendment) Order, 1990. 2. The Hospital Sterile Supplies Board (Establishment) Order, 1965 ( S.I. No. 1 of 1965 ) is hereby amended by the addition after article 23A of the following article:— "23B Notwithstanding the provisions of article 23A, a pensionable servant who ceases to hold his employment with the Board on account of the privatisation of the Board on the 10th day of February, 1989, without entitlement to an allowance and who would, had he remained in pensionable employment with the Board up to the date of his sixty-fifth birthday, have completed not less than ten years' pensionable local service, shall be entitled to exercise an option before the 28th day of July, 1989 to have the provisions of the Local Government (Superannuation Revision) (Consolidation) Scheme, 1986 applied to him.".
