I, ALBERT REYNOLDS, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 5

- a)of the Shannon Navigation Act, 1990 (No. 20 of 1990), hereby order as follows: 1. This Order may be cited as the Shannon Navigation Act, 1990 (Ballinamore and Ballyconnell Navigation) Delegation of Functions) Order, 1990. 2. The functions of the Commissioners under the Shannon Navigation Act, 1990 (No. 20 of 1990) (other than sections 2 (
- f)and 3 thereof and the Schedule thereto) in relation to the restoration, repair, improvement, extension and development of the Ballinamore and Ballyconnell navigation and hereby delegated to the Electricity Supply Board for the period of 3 years beginning on the 22 day of August, 1990. GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 22nd day of August 1990. ALBERT REYNOLDS, Minister for Finance. EXPLANATORY NOTE. This Order delegates to the Electricity Supply Board for a period of 3 years certain functions of the Commissioners of Public Works under the Shannon Navigation Act 1990 for the purpose of enabling the Electricity Supply Board to undertake the restoration of the Ballinamore and Ballyconnell Navigation.
