WILSON, Minister for the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2

(2)of the Harbours Act, 1976 (No. 5 of 1976), and the Communications (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1987 ( S.I. No. 91 of 1987 ), hereby order as follows:
  1. This Order may be cited as the Harbours Act, 1946 (Commencement of Parts V, VI, VIII, IX, X and Second Schedule) (Bantry Bay Harbour Commissioners) Order,
  3. The 29th day of October, 1990, is hereby appointed as the day on which Parts V, VI, VIII, IX, and X of the Harbours Act, 1946 (No. 9 of 1946), and the Second Schedule to that Act, shall come into operation in respect of the Bantry Bay Harbour Commissioners. GIVEN under my Official Seal this 19th day of October,
  4. JOHN P. WILSON, Minister for the Marine. EXPLANATORY NOTE. The purpose of this Order is to bring the outstanding parts of the Harbours Act, 1946 into operation in relation to Bantry Bay Harbour Commissioners and thus, confer full powers on the Commissioners.
