I, ALBERT REYNOLDS, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 5 (as amended by the European Communities (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations, 1989 ( S.I. No. 349 of 1989 )) of the Arterial Drainage Act, 1945 (No. 3 of 1945) hereby make the following Regulations: 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Arterial Drainage Acts, 1945 and 1955 (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations, 1990. 2. Where a drainage scheme prepared in accordance with Section 4 (as amended by the European Communities (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations, 1989) of the Arterial Drainage Act, 1945 , contains an environmental impact statement, a copy of such statement shall be sent to each Department of State. These Regulations prescribe bodies to which copies of an environmental impact statement prepared in respect of proposed arterial drainage works must be sent and, as such, give effect to the provisions of the European Communities (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations, 1989 ( S.I. No. 349 of 1989 )).
