WHEREAS Irish Fertiliser Industries Limited is a subsidiary to which Section 9 of the Worker Participation (State Enterprises) Act, 1988 (No. 13 of 1988), applies of Nitrigin Éireann Teoranta: AND WHEREAS Nitrigin Éireann Teoranta and representatives of employees of that company have jointly made a request in writing to the Minister for Industry and Commerce for the making of this Order and that company has sent a copy of the request to me, Bertie Ahern, Minister for Labour: NOW, I BERTIE AHERN, Minister for Labour, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by the said Section 9 and after consultation with the Minister for Finance and the Minister for Industry and Commerce, hereby make the following Order: 1. This Order may be cited as the Worker Participation (State Enterprises) Act, 1988 (Irish Fertilizer Industries Limited) Order, 1990. 2. Every employee of Irish Fertilizer Industries Limited shall, for the purpose of the Worker Participation (State Enterprises) Acts, 1977 and 1988, be regarded as an employee of Nitrigin Éireann Teoranta. The effect of this Order is to allow employees of Irish Fertilizer Industries Limited to participate in the election of employee representatives to the Board of Nitrigin Éireann Teoranta.
