REDUNDANCY (NOTICE OF DISMISSAL) REGULATIONS, 1991. I, MICHAEL O' KENNEDY, T.D., Minister for Labour, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 17 (as amended by the Redundancy Payments Act, 1971 (No. 20 of 1971)) and 58 (as amended by the Redundancy Payments Act, 1979 (No. 7 of 1979)) of the Redundancy Payments Act, 1967 (No. 21 of 1967), hereby make the following Regulations: 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Redundancy (Notice of Dismissal) Regulations, 1991, and shall come into operation on the 30th day of December, 1991. 2. In these Regulations "the notice" means the notice required by section 17

(1)of the Redundancy Payments Act, 1967 (No. 21 of 1967), as amended by the Redundancy Payments Act, 1971 (No. 20 of 1971).
  1. The notice shall be given in the form set out in the Schedule to these Regulations, or in a form substantially to like effect, and shall contain the appropriate particulars refered to in that form.
  2. A copy of the notice shall, at the same time as it is given to the employee concerned, be sent by the employer concerned to the Minister for Labour addressed to his office in Dublin.
  3. An employer who fails to comply with these Regulations shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding £
