I, BERTIE AHERN, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 12 of the Decimal Currency Act, 1969 , (No. 23 of 1969), hereby make the following order: 1. This Order may be cited as the Coinage (Calling In) Order, 1992. 2. This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of January, 1993. 3. Coins of the denomination of a shilling are hereby called in. 4. Coins of the denomination of five pence issued before the 18th day of June, 1992, are hereby called in.
