(2)(b)) (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER,
  1. I, DESMOND O'MALLEY, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 of the Competition Act, 1991 (No. 24 of 1991), hereby order as follows:
  2. This Order may be cited as the Competition Act, 1991 (Section 6
(2)(b)) (Commencement) Order,
  2. In this Order, "the Act" means the Competition Act, 1991 .
  3. Section 6
(2)(b) of the Act shall come into operation on the 2nd day of November,
  1. GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 19th day of October,
  2. DESMOND O'MALLEY, Minister for Industry and Commerce. EXPLANATORY NOTE. This Order gives the Circuit Court jurisdiction for actions in respect of any abuse which is prohibited by section 5 of the Competition Act, 1991 , with effect from 2 November,
