(4)) ORDER, 1992. I, BERTIE AHERN, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 7
(4)of the Central Bank Act, 1971 (No. 24 of 1971), as amended by section 30 of the Central Bank Act, 1989 (No. 16 of 1989), and after consultation with the Central Bank, hereby order as follows: 1. This Order may be cited as the Central Bank Act, 1971 (Section 7
(4)) Order,
  2. Section 7
(4)of the Central Bank Act, 1971 (inserted by section 30 of the Central Bank Act, 1989 ) is hereby amended by the addition to paragraph (
  1. a)(
  2. ii)of "ICC Investment Bank Limited". GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 10th day of November, 1992. BERTIE AHERN, Minister for Finance. EXPLANATORY NOTE. This Order provides for the addition of ICC Investment Bank Limited, (which is a wholly owned subsidiary of the ICC Bank public limited company) to Section 30 of the Central Bank Act, 1989 . The effect of this addition is that ICC Investment Bank Limited does not require a licence from the Central Bank for the purpose of carrying on banking business.
